Mrs MITWA N’GAMBI, CEO of MTN Cameroon, presented two projects in favour of disadvantaged people to the Minister of Social Affairs, Pauline Irène NGUENE.

The first one called “The Dinner in the Dark” to support persons with disabilities in Cameroon. The second one is called “21 Days of Yellow Care” and takes place every year from June 1 to 21. This is a social initiative funded entirely by MTN employees. This time they targeted AJEVA, an association of persons with visual impairment and physical disabilities in Yaoundé. This year, the aim is to rehabilitate and equip this structure, which is responsible for transcribing official decrees and orders into Braille. MTN is therefore seeking the Minister’s support for this activity, which will be launched on June 2.

During this audience, several areas of collaboration between the two structures were considered within the framework of the CSR of MTN’s Social Inclusion Plan. For a formal partnership … in the near future.
