2023 budget session
Minas’ priorities
The Minister of Social Affairs has requested a budget of
20 billion 614 million for the financial year 2024, broken down as follows:
- Current expenditure 10,904,000 F
- Capital expenditure 9,710,000 F.
According to the Minister of Social Affairs, this budget will enable the implementation of the main activities included in the actions of the three programmes, in order to improve the living conditions of the most disadvantaged and ensure the extension of the Unified Social Register of Cameroon (RESUC).
Priority will be given to improving technical platforms for the care and support of vulnerable people. Particular attention will be paid to the protection of children and older persons and to the social inclusion needs of vulnerable women and girls.
