Working visit of the Minister of Social Affairs, Madam Pauline Irène NGUENE, in the Far North Region, Maroua, Far North region, January 26 to 28, 2023

Day 1: Visit of the facilities

• The OASIS private social welfare institution, covering about ten hectares;
• The Maroua Institution for the Reeducation of Children (ICE Maroua), in the process of rehabilitation, (fences, water tower, buildings)
• The Bello Garey Inclusive School

The visit of the Maroua Rehabilitation Centre for Persons with the Disabilities was one of the key event of this first day…Construction work is 95% done.

Day 2: Solemn ceremony of awarding both labour medals of honour to support staff and diplomas to the graduates of the Faculty of Arts, Letters and Human sciences, the Faculty of Science and the National Advanced School of Mining and Petroleum Industries of the University of Maroua, Kongola-Djoulgouf-Kodek campus
