A caravan to provide support to socially vulnerable children

The caravan to provide support to socially vulnerable children was organized by the Association the personnel of the Ministry of Social affairs known as “La Sociale”. Organized under the patronage of the Minister of Social Affairs during the December

festive period, the objective of this activity was to ensure that vulnerable children are not left behind during end of year festivities. This activity led by the President of “La Sociale” Mrs. Moussa Lassome, took place on the 30th December 2020, with the members of “La Sociale” visiting three institutions taking care of socially vulnerable children. The first visit was the Nursery of Saint Kizito at Nkolbisson, the second was at the Vie de Grace orphanage at Efoulan and the third was at Mbone Daniel orphanage at Nkolndongo.

The gifts the children received included food items and toys so that they can enjoy the festive period like other children in families. The members of “La Sociale” were equally out to put smiles on the faces of vulnerable children, offer them love and support to the people who have been taking care of this category of children. The children were very happy to receive these gifts. They expressed their appreciation through songs. The heads of these orphanages were equally happy with this initiative and thanked the Association of the personnel of the Ministry of Social Affairs for this wonderful gesture.
