A New Impetus

On April 26, 2023, the Minister of Social Affairs, Pauline Irène NGUENE granted an audience to Elisabeth TSOUNGUI, Executive Director in charge of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Diversity and Solidarity of Orange Group. The host of Minas, expressed her satisfaction

for the fruitful partnership between both organisations. The Institute for the Re-education of Socially Maladjusted Children (ICE) of Betamba, the Rehabilitation Institute of Blind (RIB) of Buea, IMSHA, to name a few, are the rehabilitation centres that have benefited from the digitalization of the Orange Foundation. For Elisabeth TSOUNGUI, Cameroon shall benefit from the France’s 30 years of experience at the service of persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Orange Foundation wants to act on disability. That is why it is necessary to review the 2016-2019 three-year agreement to define new areas of intervention. The Orange Cameroon delegation led by the Executive Director was made up of Alain Blaise BATONGUE, Director of Institutional and Regulatory Affairs, Elisabeth EHABE, Secretary General of the Foundation, Tècle NYOBE, in charge of solidarity and ÉPÉE NDOUMBE. They were visibly satisfied with this partnership and wish to meet again with Minas within the framework of the Follow-up Committee to draw-up a new action plan.
