The workshop to draft specifications for Social Action Services within the public Administration in Cameroon took place on 

June 10,2022 at the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon in Mvolye. Presided over by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Affairs Mrs Panje Beryl Itoh, representative of the Minister, the objective of this workshop was to draft the specifications for Social Action services (SAS) of public administrations, enterprises and companies.

There was presentation of the term of reference by Mrs Minsih. Followed by presentation on the draft project document on the specifications of social Action Services within public administrations by Mr Soh Rodolphe,  Technical Adviser No 2 at the Ministry of Social Affairs. He talked of the missions of SAS within public administrations, their technical activities, where he dwelt on activities aimed at resolving professional and extra-professional difficulties that can affect performance of emplyees of public administration, activities linked to ameliorating living conditions of workers so as to increase individual and collective performance and some administrative activites.

The Secretary General in her opening speech highlighted the importance of these specifications for mastery and effective performance of the duties of the Social Action Service workers.

There was another presentation on the role of Social Action Services within public administrations: stakes and Pespectives by Mr Jean Pierre Edjoa, Director for Social Protection of the Child.

It was recommended that the SAS workers within public administrations should valorize their services for effective performance.
